Dress: Topshop $50
Cardigan: Forever 21 $18
Heels: Aldo Shoes $40
Necklace: Forever 21 $7.80

So last weekend I got to attend my very first wedding! Can you believe all 23 years I've been breathing I've never been to a wedding! I know crazy right!
The Bride and Groom were beautiful in there tradition african attire. The wedding on the other hand was not so traditional. Instead of doing the same old thing where you stand in front of the priest and recite your vows, they walked, better yet danced down the the aisle with their brides maids and and grooms men. Then they played a little game where the bride had to search for her husband in the hall. Which you'd think would be a easy task, but there had to be over 200 people in that hall. That didn't stop her though she and her brides maids formed a line and made their way around every single table till she found her husband. It was a such a fun wedding and of course the food was great, you can't beat a free african meal! lol.
For my outfit I wanted to wear something flowy and effortless, that didn't happen though! I searched high and low for a long dress with some kind of african print, or even something plain that I could have put some African print on. Came up empty handed, till I remembered that I  had this dress from Topshop I'd never worn. It was actually perfect for the occasion. Paired it with some nude heels from Aldo and my cardigan from Forever 21.
The wedding was an awesome experience, hope everyones has a great week and great rest of the weekend!

I'm working hard on adding more color into my wardrobe. Color isn't really my thing, I love my blacks and neutrals. But its so hot here in Houston the more colors you wear the better! Slowly but surely I am getting a little more comfortable in them, therefor you will be see me in them more.

Don't Step On My Blue Suede Shoes!!!

Top Almost Famous: Macy's $10
Bottoms: Urban Outfitters
Shoes: Shasa $10
Necklace: Thriftted $6
Purse: Burlington Coat Factory $12

So I finally found a Peplum top worth buying and in my price range. I was just walking around Macy's the other day and stumbled across this beauty, it was the very last one and in my size! There was no way I was going to leave it behind! I love that it has a U-back and that it's sheer at the bottom, so cute!!!
I paired it with my fav high-waisted skinny's from urban and some cheap blue suede heels I found at Shasa just to keep the blue going. And to add a little more color I added my bright green purse that everyone loves from Burlington Coat Factory. It's finally summer here in H-town, idk if I''m ready for this hot ass weather though. Hope you guys are having a great summer so far.

Oh and I got my tattoo touched up by my new fav tattooist June check out his instagram @inkdupjune

Wolverines day out

Wolverine Top: Urban Outfitters sale $10
H&M Bottoms: thriftted  $12
purse: thriftted $6
Sunnies: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: eBay
Super late post, this is from last weekend when me and Anasheh took a little trip down town to the museum district. This outfit is super random and not usually what I'd wear, mostly because off all the colors. But I was feeling pretty random. I love these shorts but they are so high wasited and tight that I can barley breath when I sit down. I can only wear them every so often, cause you know I like to breath and stuff! Okay well I have to study now, so have a good weekend

Peace & Love ✌♥

Lions and tigers and cats?!

So I didn't post on Sunday because I was in Austin for one of my girlfriends birthday. But before I left I found this awesome necklace on ebay and had to have it. Of course it was inspired by one of my favorite style icons (Rihanna) but its not exactly like her's which makes me love it even more. Excuse the boobage I wanted to give you guys a good close up of it on. The sellers name on ebay is grouperstomper you can seach his name or just seach lion necklace. The necklace was only $13 which is pretty awesome.
