POP-up Shopping!

Hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving holidays, I know I did! It was a much needed break from the madness of school. Even though my university didn't get the whole week off for the break (we got 2 days off instead of 5), I made the most of it. I spent most of it at home on the couch watching T.V, chilling with my family, and avoiding the stack of homework that was awaiting me in my room.
On Thanksgiving day I pretty much spent the whole day in the kitchen cooking, and helping my mom prepare the feast we had for dinner. Ate myself into a coma, woke up and went for a post coma run. Met up with an old friend for drinks later on that night, got my usual drink cranberry and vodka.
For black friday I did NOT leave my house!!! I love shopping and getting a good deal, but me and crazy people in big crowds don't mix! I did most of my shopping online in the peaceful comfort of my bedroom. I'll be posting what I got when I receive them in the mail. I'm so excited, I can't wait for you guys to see what I got!
Sunday was the only day I went out and did some physical shopping. Me and my good friend Anasheh went to a pop up shop event that was happening that weekend. They had some pretty cool shops, a live band, and food trucks, all set up under a huge warehouse in downtown houston. I didn't do to much damage, just picked up a couple things here and there. I got a lot of delicious smelling soaps I can't wait to use, and a cute hand made necklace I'll be featuring in future post.

Just a couple of pics form the Pop-Up shop
These Kitty undies were just so hilarious and so cute!

Check out BathCandy, if you want some yummy smelling soaps!

I love all this mans products, they're all natural and hand made by him and his family.

This awesome little bulbasaur was made with a 3D printer! Pretty bad ass right?!

No, OK that's fine, I didn't miss y'all either. j/k

Did some much needed shopping last week and found this Biggie tank at urban. Love it! wish it came in white though cause its super freaking hot here in Houston and black is not the way to go if you're trying NOT to have a heat stroke! But being a lover off all things black I couldn't help myself. This awesome skirt is from one of my local thrift shops, I been meaning to style it but haven't had time.
No more neglecting you guys, I'm back for good now!

Black Hippie ✌ ♥

Dress: Forever 21 $5
Guess Heels: Ross $32
Earrings and Watch: Thrifted
Sunnies: Urban Outfitters $16

Hey Lovies!
Hope all is well on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. I've been meaning to wear this dress and do a post on it, but of course I don't go anywhere so I couldn't. I recently picked it up at a forever 21 sale, everything in the sale was half off which was awesome! But for some reason their sales suck, it's like they find the ugliest stuff in the store and put it on sale. I was lucky enough to have pull this out of one of their big piles of clothes. These heels were another great find. I wish the strap in the front was just a single strap, but I'm not complaining. I wore them today for the first and already F them up. They're a tad bit hard to walk in, but I'll get use to them, hopefully....
That's it for now.

The Sassy Nun!

Hi Guys!
So I Spent the entire day Saturday dancing. Pole dancing in the a.m and rehearsal for my dance company in the p.m, and a little thrifting in between. I saw these bad ass Ellie heels while at Buffalo Exchange and fell in love with them!!! There was no way I was gonna leave them behind, and they were only $12 STEAL! They remind me of stripper shoes, but with a dainty twist.
Everything I'm wearing in this post is pretty much thrifted except for my jewelry, and belt which I pulled off of an old dress. I can't remember how much each thing was but just know nothing was over $8.
As you can see I'm avoiding the camera big time, my skin is horrible right now. I've been breaking out like crazy and I don't know what to do. I'm going to start blogging about different product I use for my face. things that work for me and things that don't, so stay tune for that as well as my normal fashion blog post. As always have a great rest of the week!

So I wasn't planning on doing anything for Valentines day, why you ask because I never do anything for valentines day that's why! No but really we should show the people we love love all year around.
Just saying!
My dad made a spur of the moment decision, and decided that he wanted to take the family out to eat so we only had like a hour to get ready because he wasn't to far from the house. This is what I threw together.
I was going to go a little more dressy with the Leo and wear it with a shear maxi skirt but I wasn't to sure if the restaurant was a dressy one or casual one. So I just kept it casual. I love these shoes but I find them a tab bit hard to style, I don't know why though. They look a little bit weird when  I wear them with certain types of pants, but ill figure something out
So the family and I went to Golden Corral for dinner, can I just say that, that was the worst place I have ever been in my 22 years of living. There were people everywhere, kids everywhere, the plates were dirty, the silver wear was dirty and the food wasn't even that good!
But I hope you guys had a great Valentines day!!!

Color me Bright Hippie

Shoe shopping with my mom is stressful, let me tell you!!! I love the women but she can never make up her mind to what shoes she wants!
I've been sitting here watching the super bowl, eating nachos, and editing pictures, what a fun day right? Ha ha not really. Did you guys watch the Super Bowl, and if you did what was your favorite part? I'm not even gonna lie, I watched just to see Beyonce's performance. It was real good at the beginning but lost it's luster towards the end. I still love her thought! And her outfit was FIERCE!!! If only I could wear that in real life to just run some errands, ha ha life would be just peachy.
Today felt like a colorful day for me, a lazy colorful day. I decided to wear theses big colorful palazzo like pants that I recently got from forever 21. They were pretty comfortable except for the fact that they kept giving me a wedgie. Other than that they were perfect. And like with everything else I wear I got a lot of stares in this outfit, but don't worry bitches didn't kill my vibe!
